1994 to present: Rotary Club of Houston: during that time she has served on the Board of Directors and as Secretary as well as Sergeant at Arms. Additionally, she served as chairperson of the Club’s Burnett Bayland Committee and continues to work with the young people at this juvenile detention center.

1987 to present: Houston Marathon 20 years as a volunteer and 2 years as an active participant.
Education:
- 1981 — University of Texas at Austin with BBA in Finance (cum laude).
- 1985 — University of Texas at Austin with a JD.
- While in law school, she was selected to write for the Legal Research Board. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1985.
